I don't wish I'd known you any sooner

...

I don’t

However precious the things you bring, I would have held them with careless hands. I know this much of who I was and who I am.

Only with heavy snow of winter does the heated sun become gentler, and then autumn invites me to let go, again.

The endlessly long-stretched nights and the peacefully quiet morning sun, the words I swallowed and the ones that found their way out. Only these can shape a man who sees what’s in front of him at its fullest.

I know I’ll be you when the time arrives. And I don’t wish I’d known you any sooner but I’ll make sure to live a life worth choosing twice.
